Cute Blue Koala

Hello my dears. Do you want to make a cute koala? Made in shades of blue. Don’t let its looks fool you. Making this cute crochet koala is not as easy as it looks. I have to say it takes quite a bit of ingenuity. A cute koala made by using different colors together. It is also decorated with a beautiful flower figure. First crochet 2 in esmerald color
and then 2 in light blue.
Then join one of each color.
Round 1) 3 SC in a MR. (3)
CHAIN 1 and turn.
Round 2) INC, Repeat 3 times. (6)
CHAIN 1 and turn.
Round 3) SC, INC. Repeat 3 times. (9)
CHAIN 1 and turn.

JOINING THE RIGHT EAR:
In light blue cotton yarn
Place the light blue ear with the right side down and place the esmerald ear on top of the light blue one.
Join both ears crocheting: 8 SLST and then at the end we will make a detail that consists of: Chain 3, SLST
(Repeat this sequence 3 times)
Fasten off and leave tail for sewing.

JOINING THE LEFT EAR:

In light blue cotton yarn
Place the light blue ear with the right side down and place the esmerald ear on top of the light blue one.
Join both ears crocheting: Chain 3, SLST (Repeat this sequence 3 times)
then keep on doing 8 SLST.

LITTLE FLOWER
In light pink cotton yarn Change hook: 2.5 mm
In a MR crochet: CHAIN 3, SLST. Repeat 5 times.
Close magic ring.
Leave thread for sewing.

BIG FLOWER:
In yellow cotton yarn Change hook: 4.0 mm
In a MR crochet: CHAIN 3, SLST. Repeat 5 times.

JOINING 2 FLOWERS:
In light green cotton yarn.

Hook through the magic ring
(it is the some for the hands and the feet)
and pull it out in the first stitch of round 1.

Hook the light green yarn and bring It to the CENTER of the magic ring. Chain 3, SLT ST in the first
stitch of round 1. Then Chain 3, SLT ST in the second stitch of round 1.
Repeat once more Chain 3, SLT ST
in the third stitch of round 1.

Fasten off and hide thread.
Repeat the same in all cases.

ASSEMBLY:

Put pins on the increases from round 11 of the head to see clearly where the cheeks are and thus center the nose correctly.
Sew nose between the cheeks. Sew ears on each side of the head. Sew flowers over left ear.
Sew arms on each side of the body. Sew them on the neckline.
Sew legs on each side of the body following the videotutorial on YT.
With white cotton thread embroider light line of the eyes.
With 3 strand black cotton yarn embroider eyelashes.
With 3 strand black cotton yarn embroider eyebrows.
With pink fabric marker blush cheeks.
